Driving IoT Excellence: EMQ's Presence at ONE Summit 2024 in California

Morgan Hill, CA, May 23, 2024 - EMQ, a global leader in open-source IoT data infrastructure software and the creator of EMQX, the world’s most scalable MQTT messaging platform, proudly announces its participation in the prestigious ONE Summit 2024. This event took place in San Jose, California, from April 29th to May 1st, 2024.

EMQ was honored to sponsor this esteemed event, which serves as the premier industry gathering focused on best practices, technical challenges, and business opportunities facing network decision-makers across Access, Edge, and Cloud.

Over three days, the event showcased an impressive lineup of industry pioneers and thought leaders, offering a wealth of knowledge, innovation, and networking opportunities. Attendees enjoyed advanced presentations and hands-on tutorials on the practical applications of open-source automation and networking technologies poised to revolutionize the business landscape.

Jaylin Yu, Solution VP of Edge Computing at EMQ, delivered an enlightening keynote titled “NanoMQ + EKuiper: Unifying Real-Time Messaging & Streaming for the Internet of Vehicles” at the ONE Summit 2024. His presentation explored edge computing and IoT analytics within the automotive sector, highlighting trends in Software Defined Vehicles. Jaylin showcased EMQ Technologies' open-source products, demonstrating their role in driving innovation in connected vehicles. He emphasized EMQX's unmatched scalability and performance as the world's most scalable MQTT-based IoT messaging platform. Additionally, he introduced NanoMQ, EMQ’s messaging middleware for edge deployment, and eKuiper, a lightweight data analytics and stream processing engine for resource-constrained edge devices. Notably, EMQX supports various vehicle services for leading automakers such as Volkswagen, Lucid Technologies, Scania, BMW, and Great Wall Motors, benefiting over 20 million vehicles globally.

Furthermore, Jaylin discussed QUIC, a high-performance transport layer designed for Internet of Vehicle applications, which efficiently handles network changes and enhances resilience. With EMQX pioneering MQTT over QUIC support, further advancements are expected in addressing network-related challenges and enabling seamless communication in the expanding world of IoT. Jaylin also presented real-world examples of solutions for ingesting, processing, and transmitting data at scale from remote locations, encompassing industrial, vehicle, and home automation.

EMQ’s CEO, Dylan Kennedy, expressed his enthusiasm about the event: "Our participation in ONE Summit 2024 underscores our unwavering commitment to driving innovation in open-source automation and networking technologies. At EMQ, we are dedicated to offering cutting-edge solutions that meet the ever-evolving needs of the IoT landscape."
